Are you a skilled and inspirational Teacher of Science?

Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary school in the Southampton area which are seeking to appoint a skilled and inspirational Teacher of Science who forms effective relationships with students, parents and colleagues and has the skills and drive to ensure our students receive the best possible learning opportunities.

The school are extremely ambitious (over 1000+ students) and have a strong vision to ensure that the life-chances of every young person are enhanced by quality teaching, leading to excellent outcomes.

The school have placed Numeracy and Literacy at the heart of their curriculum and are committed to investing in those areas. All students receive four hours of Maths and Science teaching per week and their new and innovative KS3 curriculum is currently delivering numeracy embedded in all subjects that students undertake. The school are developing exciting programmes that enhance students’ opportunities to study maths and they offer adult and family learning opportunities through their community provision.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
