Secondary school in Kingston seeking behaviour and learning mentors – GBP70 to GBP85 a day – full time position starting after October half term

 

A secondary school in Kingston is currently recruiting support staff to work with at risk children to support them in class and throughout their school day. This post is open to those with experience as a learning or behaviour mentor and graduates aiming to gain experience in a school environment.

The ideal experience for a learning of behaviour mentor consists of helping children with challenging behaviour, working with children with SEN, tutoring experience and youth or mentoring work. For those looking to gain experience, the school in question would require a bachelor degree in any specialisms.

Behaviour and learning mentors require;

  • Either;

    • Experience working with as a learning or behaviour mentor (ideally with children with challenging behaviour, SEN or similar)

    • A bachelor degree in any specialism

  • Availability to work full time; 5 days a week, 8:30 am till 3:30 pm

  • Willing to travel to Kingston by car or public transport, easily accessible via Surbiton

  • Able to work from October half term
