SEN Support Worker

  • Do you have experience as a Support Worker?
  • Would you like to work on both a 1:1 and small group basis with primary and secondary pupils?
  • Do you have a passion for special educational needs?

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a SEN primary and secondary school that is based in the Brighton & Hove area. The school are now recruiting for SEN Support Workers that’re able to start after the Easter holidays. The chosen educator must have experience with special educational needs and who’re able to build rapport with both primary and secondary pupils, the children will have PMLD (Profound, Multiple, Learning, Difficulties).

About the School:

The school cater for pupils between the ages of 5-16, all pupils will have different needs. The school have fantastic facilities and large grounds, the school will have personal EHCP’s (Educational, Health, Care, Plans) for each pupil.

About the Role:

The chosen educator will be expected to support pupils on both a 1:1 and small group basis. It’s important that you’re a strong role model and are able to show initiative within the role. If you’re confident and proactive then this role is for you.

Additional Information:

Travel: Car/Bus

Contract: Temp to Perm

Location: Brighton

Availability: Monday – Friday

Pay: £385 - £400 per week

Hours: 8:30am – 15:30pm

Experience: PMLD, Autism, ADHD
