Do you work with people or young people with mental health or emotional needs and are looking for your next challenge? Are you a Teaching Assistant looking to work with smaller groups of children in a more person centred style? Are you wanting to get into education but not sure how to get your foot in the door?
Teaching Personnel are looking for an outstanding candidate to work with children with a range of complex and challenging behaviours. The right candidate will be passionate about making a difference to disadvantaged students and will have experience working with those with special needs or emotional needs and/or working with children. Personal experience would also be considered.
The school is based in Huddersfield and is a Key Stage 2 - 4 Pupil Referral Unit and is easily accessed by bus and rail from Leeds, Wakefield and Huddersfield. The role is full time and the right candidate will be offered the opportunity to go onto a permanent contract directly with the school.
The school recognises that each student requires a tailored approach to their education and it provides this to a wide range of pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours through flexible and personal plans. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in a school that, this year, received an 'Outstanding' report from Ofsted.
Teaching Personnel is the leading education recruitment agency in the UK and the benefits of working with us include:
- Ongoing CPD
- The opportunity to gain experience and kick start your career in education and care in a professional and supportive environment
- The support of a dedicated consultant
- Great pay of between £80 - £120 per day depending on experience.
