We are working in partnership with a passionate Senior Leadership Team based local to Attleborough and Thetford, to appoint a Behaviour Mentor/Learning Support Assistant. You will be supporting pupils between the ages of 5-16 years, who have challenging behaviour and complex needs (Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Asperger’s, Learning Difficulties, and Dyslexia).
Supporting SEN (Special Educational Needs), your role will involve keeping pupils engaged in their learning and development on a 1:1, small group and larger class size basis. This particular position offers excellent rates of pay and flexible working hours from Monday to Friday.
The well-established and supportive specialist school strives to provide a good quality of education for pupils with additional needs. You are required to support and improve the learning and development of each child you work with, which is extremely rewarding. With a strong interest and previous experience, personal experience and/or knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN), the successful applicant will be a reliable and motivated individual, who is ready to start work as soon as possible.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
