Teaching Personnel are working closely with a friendly primary school on the outskirts of Market Rasen who are urgently seeking a qualified / experienced Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to provide 121 SEN support for a pupil in Year 2.

We're looking for someone who...

Suitable candidates will be available to commit to work 4.5 hours per day, 5 days per week until July 2019.

You will be qualified to level 2 or above and / or have significant experience in working with children desplaying challenging bahaviour on a 121 basis. Team Teach training would be beneficial. A resilient and positive attitude is essential!

The role...

The role is to provide 121 support to a pupil with SEN, displaying extremely challenging behaviour. The successful candidate will need to establish and maintain a relationship with the pupil during activities and learning tasks, feeding back to the teacher on progress made.

You will manage behaviour and promote independent learning, encouraging them to take responsibility for their own learning and promoting development of self-esteem.

Other tasks may include assisting the class teacher in setting up the classroom for the day, preparing resources and materials.
