Teaching Assistants required in Huddersfield

Here at Teaching Personnel, we are looking for experienced behaviour support workers, sport trainers, youth workers and mental health professionals. We need these experienced individuals to work in a behavioural setting based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to support and progress children with complex Social, Emotional, and Mental & Behavioural Difficulties.

The school focuses on one-to-one social and emotional support in the classroom and outdoor educational initiatives build pupils’ trust. This then leads to help unlock their potential to a happy, meaningful and successful adult life. The ideal candidate will be able to provide opportunities for pupils to develop special interests and talents through a range of extra-curricular activities. These children require additional support with engagement and communication skills in order to reintegrate them back into mainstream settings. All of the young people have a statement of SEN or EHC plan or are being assessed for a plan.

We are looking for hard working and committed individuals who would be confident and happy working with challenging pupils in an educational setting.

The range of pay will vary from between £60 to £90 a day dependant on experience.
