Behaviour Support Worker

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a Secondary SEMH provision in the Burnley area who are looking to recruit a dedicated, motivated behaviour support worker to support within their KS3/4 department.

-          Primary/Secondary Alternative Provision

-          Burnley  

-          ASAP start

-          Long-term

-          Pay:  £12.90 - £13.50

The provision aims to ensure that the provide necessary support to improve their confidence, self-esteem and enable them to become successful learners in school and prepared for their future working lives. Pupils are taught in small groups, where they study the core curriculum and receive the extra support they require. Students are then able to make good progress as staff can ensure that learning is tailored to individual student needs.

The role
The role of a Behaviour Support worker will be to provide a service to teachers and other staff, addressing the needs of children who require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning to achieve their true potential, or accessing the curriculum to help to reduce incidences of internal and external exclusion

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
