Behaviour Support Worker

A school in Barnoldswick have approached Teaching Personnel to source a Behaviour room supervisor to start ASAP.

The school is a rapidly growing secondary school based in Barnoldswick, graded "Good" by Ofsted. They are the school of choice for pupils and parents throughout the area. Candidates considering this role should ideally have experience working within a Pupil Referral Unit setting. The working hours for the role are 8.30am - 4.00pm and the position is full time Monday to Friday. For a suitable candidate there will be a permanent position available upon the completion of a successful handover basis. The main responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to:

- Staff the room we use for when students have been removed from lessons

- Ensure that pupils behave appropriately and follow the rules of the Consequences room

- Ensure that pupils complete the work they have been set

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
