Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a larger than average, Primary school in the Moston area of Manchester (M40). This 2 form entry primary school are looking for an passionate Teaching Assistant to work as a behaviour buddy supporting a number of children across the Early Years, KS1 and KS2 who need additional support to monitor their behaviour.

To be considered for this position, you will have the ability to deal efficiently with challenging behaviour whilst working closely with a number of children with a variety of complex needs. To be considered for this post, you should have experience working with children with behavioural issues and Special Learning Needs and will have the ability to form good relationships with children of all ages.

This 'GOOD' primary school was praised at its last Ofsted inspection for its 'Happy, welcoming and inclusive' environment and the staffs 'ability to assist children with identified learning needs. The school are looking for a passionate practitioner who has the skills and experience suitable to lead its children through until the end of the academic year!

This post is to start in September and will run up until the end of the academic year. Only candidates with experience supporting children with complex needs or dealt with challenging behaviours in an educational setting will be considered.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience supporting children with complex needs
  • Be able to form working relationships with children and staff
  • Be looking to build a career in education
