Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced behaviour support assistant to work with pupils with challenging behaviours. The roles are working on a 1:1/small group basis. The pupils have specific timetable to cater and suit their needs and abilities. This will entail the candidate supporting the pupil on and off site which would require the candidate to be able drive with access to their own vehicle.

The roles are full time, 5 days a week working from 8:30-3:30.

Having experience of working with challenging behaviours is required for this role. This may be through a teaching assistant role, child care support, sports coach or other child based education. Additionally if you have other qualifications such as Team teach, MAPA, classroom support, behaviour management or any others then let us know as this will strengthen your application.

If you have a DBS in child workforce then this will make your vetting quicker. However do not worry if you do not as we can support you through the process.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
