Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Are you looking for a rewarding role working with vulnerable young people?
We are currently looking for an experienced candidate to act as a behaviour mentor and teaching assistant in the Bolton area. The school we are recruiting for caters for up to 60 students who are currently not in mainstream education. This may be due to challenging social and emotion problems, mental health issues or challenging behaviour.
As acting support for these children, candidates will need to help pupils to re-engage with their specially devised curriculum and find progress in their learning, as well as being a mentor to their emotional and mental well-being. Some students may exhibit challenging behaviour, therefore candidates with experience or training in Team-teach/ de-escalation/ crisis management would be essential.
This is a very rewarding role and would be suitable for someone with a resilient but enthusiastic attitude. If you feel you have the appropriate experience and are interested in the role, please apply with your CV and cover letter to Joshua.clair-
