Behaviour Support Assistant, Rawtenstall

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a School based in the East Lancashire area, near Rawtenstall who are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant for their School. Your job role would be to support and help educate pupils in School and help the teacher to manage behaviour. The School is smaller than average and currently caters for approximately 50 pupils, with class sizes generally between 6 - 8 pupils across KS3/4. 

The School is based on the outskirts of Rawtenstall and pupils in this school have a range of additional needs including; SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD, Conduct Disorder and challenging behaviours. The School are looking for a hard working, resilient, empathetic and strong willed candidate with a good sense of humour to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who have additional needs and can often be challenging in their behaviours. 

The candidate must be looking for a long term, full time role in a forward thinking secondary school which caters specifically for pupils who are no longer able to remain in mainstream education. 

The successful candidate will benefit from: 

- Negotiable pay rates GBP57 - 70 per day
