Behaviour Support Assistant
Join a popular secondary school in Manchester, seeking to appoint a Behaviour Support Assistant on a full time basis. Applications encouraged from people with experience working with:
- Young people with behavioural difficulties
- Young people with Social and Emotional Mental Health needs (SEMH)
- Youth offenders or challenging young people in a Youth Work/Sports Coaching environment
The successful candidate will provide behaviour support to individuals and small groups of students within the schools internal inclusion unit. They will provide social and academic support as required ensuring that all students stay on task with the required work.
This role will involve working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health issues and therefore, we are looking for a resilient individual with a calming manor who will act as a positive role model and encourage students to achieve their academic potential.
This successful secondary school is popular and over subscribed secondary schools located just a short drive from the city centre of Manchester. The school has a modern building with excellent facilities throughout and will provide the successful teacher with a welcoming and positive working environment.
The schools location links it directly to the surrounding areas of Stockport and Tameside making it accessible from the M60 and M67. For those on public transport, the school is easily accessible by public transport links.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
