Behaviour Support Assistant
Join a vibrant secondary school in Manchester, seeking to appoint a Behaviour Support Assistant on a full-time basis from November.
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, the successful applicant will support and assist pupils in managing their behaviour and in achieving their social and behavioural targets both in and outside of the classroom. The successful candidate will set a good example to students through their own presentation and personal professional conduct.
Responsibilities of this role will include:
- Supporting students who are experiencing difficulties in managing their behaviour by supporting them outside of the classroom.
- Working closely with the SENCO and Senior Leaders to assist pupils back into the classroom once they have regained management of their behaviour.
- Supporting teachers with the behavioural management of groups and individuals within the whole class setting, so that teaching objectives are met.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
