Our client SEN School based in Colchester, is looking to recruit a committed and hard-working Behaviour Teaching Assistant. This is a full time position, which will see you support pupils of all ages.

The school are in search for a diligent and resilient behaviour teaching assistant, ideally with previous experience within a SEMH environment. The pupil can display challenging behaviour; therefore, it is essential for the pupil to have a confident and positive role model in their life. Someone who adopts a therapeutic approach coupled with a strong academic background.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has the drive to become a support worker or child psychologist, seeking that core experience before moving further on with your studies and training. The school is renowned for its level of training and support offer to members of staff, to encourage further development and retention.

 Behaviour Teaching Assistant

• Typical hours – Term Time - 8:30AM - 4:30PM

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
