A client school in the Moss Side area of Manchester (M14) are recruiting for a behaviour support assistant to join their KS2 team on a full time basis starting ASAP. The school are looking for a teaching assistant who has experience working with children who display challenging behaviour whilst liaising continually with the schools SENCO, teachers and parents.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with needs such as ADHD and ASC and will be able to implement effective behaviour management techniques at all times. The school would benefit from a compassionate teaching assistant who has a good sense of humour who is dedicated to assisting children with specific needs.
This post is to work in a modern, 3 form entry primary school which was graded 'GOOD' at its last OFSTED inspection. The school boasts continual levels of progression for its children and has a strong, committed staffing team who adhere to the 'inclusive' ethos of the school. This primary school has a strong community feel and is looking for a teaching assistant who will get involved in all aspects of school life!

The school are looking to short list for this position as soon as possible with a view to the role starting after February half term. If you are a dedicated teaching assistant and you have experience working with children who display challenging behaviours, you are encouraged to get in touch asap to ensure that you don't miss out on this great opportunity.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
