Behaviour Support Assistant

Our client secondary school located in Brighton wish to appoint a behaviour specialist teaching assistant to support the learning and behaviour of their pupils.

If you have previous experience working within education and would like to gain a rewarding role within a secondary school this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

• Full-time behaviour support role available from September 2020.

• Supporting a range of pupils to ensure they stay engaged within classes.

• Working on a 1:1 basis with pupils who display challenging behaviour.

• Temporary position from September 2020.

• School located in Brighton, just 10 minutes out of the city centre.

Due to a gap within this support department, this 11-16 secondary school seek to appoint a confident and outgoing support assistant to support pupils who display challenging behaviour. This is a rewarding position whereby you will support individual pupils to help develop their learning and development.

The school wish to appoint a behaviour specialist teaching assistant who;

• Is able to build strong relationships with pupils and has previous experience working with secondary aged pupils.

• Has previous experience mentoring/supporting the learning of more challenging pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
