Behaviour Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Assistant who is able to work within one of our key client schools based in Wigan.

With a number of students at risk of exclusion the Pastoral Manager has identified that the school require a dedicated member of staff to work closely with identified students that have become regular faces within the schools pupil referral unit.

The Pastoral Manager wishes to meet with candidates in the coming weeks with the aim to appoint prior to Christmas.

  • Behaviour Support Assistant - Full-time role
  • Expected pay in the region of £1200 a month (Dependent on experience)
  • Working within a supportive secondary school based in Wigan
  • Employment for the remainder of the academic year

With a number of identified students who are currently at risk of exclusion our client secondary school now wish to appoint a Behaviour Support Assistant who is able to support students that are struggling within mainstream classes or students who are at risk of being exclusion.

Our client secondary is smaller than the average sized secondary school with just over 700 pupils on roll. A large percentage of the pupils are from White British backgrounds. It is situated on the outskirts of Wigan town centre which makes it easily accessible from the surrounding areas. There are also public transport links direct from Wigan town centre and the suburbs of Aspull and Hindley.
