Behaviour Support Assistant

Do you have experience working with students who display challenging behaviour? Are you currently looking to utilise your skills in behaviour management within a Secondary school setting?

Our client school, located in Rochdale are currently seeking to appoint a Behaviour Support Worker to join their Inclusion Team from September due to a restructure within the department. The Inclusion Manager has identified that certain students across KS3 and KS4 require additional support to improve their behaviour within school.

Some of the students have been identified to display challenging behaviours, so it is vital that the successful Behaviour Support Worker has previous experience working with challenging behaviour.”

You will be expected to work with pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis to deliver sessions on motivation and positive behaviour management strategies, along with being a role model for students who have become disengaged from learning.

**Full time position, from September 2020
**GBP60 - GBP70 per day, depending upon previous experiences
**Supporting students across KS3 and KS4.
**Liaising with the school SENCO and Inclusion Manager
**Fantastic opportunity prior to completing teacher training courses
