Behaviour Support (1 to 1) - Hatfield
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Sometimes the break from school and different structure over the summer holidays can result in new or returning behaviours showing in learners during the start of term. Supporting a child at the beginning of the term who might struggle with changes in routine can make a big difference to the experience of the child.
We are currently recruiting for 1 to 1 behaviour support staff to work at a primary school in St Albans. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children exhibiting signs of challenging behaviour.
A decent understanding of childrens development and behaviour as well as special educational needs (ASC, ADHD as an example) is preferable. We will always welcome recent graduates with relevant degrees (Early years, education studies, psychology) with aspirations of working in education. We will also always welcome those with a background in residential care - supporting adults with special needs, mental health conditions and autism.
We offer a competitive daily rate and the opportunity to work across all sectors of education - Primary, SEN, Secondary and alternative provisions (PRU/SEMH as an example).
