Job description

A 'Good' with 'Outstanding' features primary school based in a village school East Riding, are looking for a behavioural specialist assistant to join their staffing team in January 2018.
The behavioural specialist would be required to support a pupil in Year 4, on a one to one basis. This pupil displays highly challenging behaviour and so therefore the school are ideally looking for someone who has experience and can provide their supporting strategies for this type of behaviour. The candidate would ideally have Team teach training and be familiar with deescalation skills. The pupil requires support on a 2:1 basis and you would be working alongside another Teaching Assistant to provide the support.
The ideal candidate would need to be available on a part-time basis (mornings only) working from Monday to Friday. This role is a long term role for the whole academic year.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
