I am recruiting experienced Behaviour Mentors for roles as Teaching Assistants in Secondary Schools in Scarborough. Do you have a calm, caring and professional approach to managing challenging situations? In this Behaviour Mentor and Teaching Assistant roles you will have the responsibility of maintaining the confidentiality of the SEMH students in order to create a sensitive learning environment where privacy is respected. You will have the opportunity to mentor a specific student on a 1:1 basis, or specific students on a small-group basis. You will guide students through their day as they overcome their personal barriers to learning. You will be building strong relationships between the student’s home and school life to create a consistent learning environment. To track student progression accurately, it is important that you feed information on their lesson engagement back to the teachers and other designated members of staff.
