Behaviour Management Lead

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a dynamic and nurturing SEN school in Stoke-on-Trent, dedicated to supporting children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, SEMH, and complex behavioural challenges. We are recruiting for a highly skilled Behaviour Management Lead.
About the role:
- Start-date: 5th January
- Ongoing/long-term with opportunity for permanent contract
As the Behaviour Management Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering whole-school behaviour strategies that are tailored to the needs of our SEN learners. You will lead on promoting a positive, inclusive, and trauma-informed culture by supporting staff with training, coaching, and guidance in areas such as de-escalation, positive behaviour support, and restorative practices. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will monitor behaviour trends using data, implement targeted interventions, and liaise with families and external professionals to ensure a consistent and collaborative approach to behaviour support. You will also contribute to EHCP processes, lead behaviour review meetings, and champion a safe and supportive environment where every student can thrive.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualification/experience in Behaviour Management, Psychology, SEND, or related field
- Proven experience in leading behaviour strategy in SEN or alternative provision settings
- Deep understanding of trauma-informed practice and PBS (Positive Behaviour Support)
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with challenging behaviour
- Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
