Behaviour Learning Mentor/Teaching Assistant - Bedminster

Role: Behaviour Learning Mentor/Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £55-£70 per day

We are currently supporting a school based in Bedminster with appointing a Behaviour Learning Mentor/Teaching Assistant to join them from next term.

The position will involve supporting a pupil within lower Key Stage 2, mainly with their behaviour on a day to day basis. The pupil is statemented and there is a EHCP (Educational Healthcare Plan) in place to ensure that the child is making appropriate progress.

Although the pupils behaviour has improved since the start of the academic year, the school feel that by having an experienced behaviour learning mentor/teaching assistant support the pupil will help disable any barriers to learning further.

Although the majority of the time will be spent supporting the pupils in class, there will also be a couple of hours during the day where you will be expected to work with he pupil outside of the class. This will be to assist learning through targeted intervention and gap identification.
