Job description

  • Location: Nurseries across Liverpool, The Wirral & Sefton
  • Agency: Teaching Personnel

Are you passionate about Early Years education and looking for flexible work that fits around your life? We’re recruiting Bank EYFS Practitioners (Nursery Assistant) to support a group of welcoming nurseries across Liverpool.

Flexible Working Hours:

  • Full Day: 8am – 6pm (approx. £130/day)
  • Morning Shift: 8am – 1pm
  • Afternoon Shift: 1pm – 6pm

  • EYFS Teaching, Learning and Assessment
  • EYFS Practitioner Injuries, Accidents and Risk Assessment
  • All training is FREE and designed to support your growth and confidence in early years settings

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support children’s development through play, planned activities, and observation
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
  • Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents
  • Adapt to different nursery settings and team dynamics with professionalism and warmth

✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working in EYFS settings (nurseries, reception classes, etc.), OR working with children in any type of setting
  • A nurturing, proactive and flexible approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Happy to complete our EYFS CPD offerings 
  • Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
