Our SEN branch is working in partnership with a National Autistic Society accredited school in Hayes seeking teachers with autism experience for an academic year position. This school caters for pupils with autism diagnosis and are looking to become a 'digital school' with a renowned approach to interactive learning strategies.

The school based in the borough of Hillingdon offer regular training and have a fun, collaborative approach to learning working closely with staff, autism specialists, in-house therapist and social workers.

This position is for a minimum of an academic year with permanent contracts offered on individual merit. Successful applicants will ideally have teaching experience in an SEN school or provision, have knowledge of the primary curriculum and be confident planning and delivering lessons incorporating PECS and sensory learning.

Role:

  • £120 - 150 per day
  • QTS, OTT, FE and EYTS qualified Teacher
  • Full-time - 5 days a week
  • Autism and complex learning needs
  • Primary (EYFS, KS1 and KS2)
  • 6 - 8 pupils in class
  • Planning and delivering lessons in Maths, English, Science, RE and PSHE
  • P Scales national curriculum
  • Sensory learning, PECS and Makaton approaches
  • 2/3 support staff within class
