SEN teaching assistant position available for January 2020 – autism support

A lovely school based near Bromley has work available for an SEN teaching assistant starting Monday 6^th January 2020. The school is an SEN school and provides tailored education for students with moderate learning difficulties – autism and associated social difficulties.

The ideal candidate for this kind of work:

• Available to work full time, 5 days a week, 08:30am – 16:00pm, term time only
• Happy to work with secondary aged students
• Experience supporting children with autism – students at this school are verbal, but have moderate social and communication difficulties
• Able to work collaboratively with the class teachers and other TAs

The school has grown steadily over the last 7 years, and provides outstanding education for children who have autism, including some associated challenging behaviour and other mild special needs including dyslexia and dyspraxia.
