SEN Teaching Assistant required immediately working 1:1 with severe ASC pupil in Year 1 (September 2019)

Do you have experience supporting pupils with severe ASC and challenging behaviour?

The role will require you to liaise and work closely with the LEA behaviour specialist

Long term position to start in September till at least February 2020

I am currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistant to join an average Primary School which fosters the self esteem and autonomy of each individual and which encourages him or her to benefit society so that both may be enriched and enhanced.

Our client is a two form entry school in Huyton and serves a diverse community and number of pupils for whom English is an additional language is rising in school.

The role will be working 1:1 with a Year 1 pupil with severe ASC and challenging behaviour.

You will be supported and required to work closely with the LEA behaviour specialist

This is an exciting time to join a team where you can really contribute and see the changes you make personally alongside a team who are all committed to achieving the same goal.

Teaching Assistants with TEAM-TEACH qualification or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
