We are currently seeking for individuals who have a strong background in behaviour support or have knowledge in dealing with students with behavioural difficulties within a primary school based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
It is essential that you can build good working relationships with children to gain trust who may struggle with behaviour as a result of special educational needs such as ADHD and ASC. These children need your extra support to access the curriculum as fully as possible and ultimately raise attainment of the students and re-interest them in learning.
The school is looking for a passionate person to create change and bring enthusiasm to assist pupils in day to day learning and routines. You will have a desire for working with young people and be looking to make a real difference.
This role for the right candidate can offer you with great job satisfaction as seeing the development and progression of these students can be extremely rewarding.
A Team-Teach qualification or relevant qualification (e.g. MAPA) are highly desirable but not essential. Teaching Personnel also offer a range of CPD courses including Team-Teach, Introduction to Autism and Moving and Handling and we are partnered with Leeds Trinity University who support us with upskilling all our candidates.
