With this in mind we have had a request from a Catholic school in the L25 region of Liverpool for a Teaching Assistant who is vastly experienced working with children with SEN. The role will last until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to turn it into a permanent position.

The school is rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and want someone to maintain the high standards and school ethos. The school has brilliant SEN provision and the pupils who have special educational needs make good progress from their different starting points. Some make rapid progress because of the very effective specialist support they receive.

The school have asked for a Teaching Assistant who has worked with children with ASC, understanding the needs of a pupil with Autism and being able to work closely with the class teacher and the SENCO to help maximise learning for this pupil.
