Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for an ASC Teaching Assistant with experience in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASC).
We invite applications from candidates with relevant experience, whether gained in a classroom or a non-educational setting. Several of our client secondary schools in Wigan are already preparing to hire ASC Teaching Assistants to support students joining their school in January 2024.
- ASC Teaching Assistant
- Full-time ASC Teaching Assistant role providing support to students with Autism Commencing in January 2024
- Daily pay rates starting at £80 per day and upwards from here dependent on experience
- Employment for the remainder of the academic year
As an ASC Teaching Assistant working in our client secondary schools, you will closely collaborate with identified students on a 1:1 basis, in mainstream classroom settings, and in small group sessions. To be considered for any of these positions, you should possess patience, understanding, and a positive attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
