About the role

This specific role of an SEN Teaching Assistant requires a forward-thinking individual who has previous experience working with SEN children either in a volunteer or paid role and earned a second-class degree or better. This role is working with a Year 4 Autistic pupil who has been progressing well in class, but now needs a new TA. We want our applicants to show the capability of using their enthusiasm for teaching and learning in order to ignite a thirst for knowledge in your student. This ASC TA vacancy is open to those who have an understanding of how to build relationships, and can apply a naturally positive approach.

Qualifications?

  • You may have a degree, but no specific qualifications are required - but any relevant Education certificates within SEN (such as Autism Awareness, Behaviour Management, Makaton etc) are highly beneficial

This school is within a 5 minute walk from the nearest tube station, whilst bus routes are also abundant, meaning it is easily accessible for you!
