ASC Secondary Maths Teacher Wanted in Peterborough

We are looking to appoint a Secondary Maths Teacher to work in an SEN school in Peterborough.

A new career opportunity available to secondary maths teachers with either mainstream or SEN experience has opened in the Peterborough area. The school are looking to appoint a new maths teacher to work with secondary students in small class sizes of up to 8 children. You should be willing to work within an environment with children who have Autistic Spectrum Condition and will likely have other sensory and physical needs, which could result in challenging behaviour.

This school is well respected and caters for over 100 students aged between 4 - 16 years old. They have recently been awarded a 'Good' rating from Ofsted and have a brilliant facilities and a fantastic staff team.

This role will require you to have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT), Overseas Teacher Training (OTT) or be an Unqualified Teacher with previous experience in education, preferably secondary.

It is advantageous to have previous experience working in an SEN environment, particularly with ASC. However, if you do not have this experience but are motivated and passionate about working with SEN then we will consider you also.
