Nursery Nurse required for a Nursery with a SEN Unit

A warm and welcoming nursery school in which are looking for a Nursery Nurse to join them as soon as possible. The nursery in which I am currently recruiting for is a mainstream nursery which also has an assessment unit for children who have complex needs and would benefit from an extended period of assessment. The nursery nurse position is to support the children within the assessment unit in which has spaces for up to 10 children (5 morning and 5 afternoon places.)

You would be involved in assessing the children and report writing where you would be supported with this by the nursery teacher. The children in the unit typically attend the unit for 2 to 3 terms. The assessment unit still follows the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum but also offers additional experiences such as sensory activities and minibus outings.

The unit is also supported by a Speech and Language Therapist who works closely with the children, parents and staff. You would be surrounded by a knowledgeable and supportive team to guide you through the start of your new job role.
