ART TEACHER IN EMSWORTH SCHOOL
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a school in Emsworth who are looking to recruit for their Art department. This role has the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff if the school and the candidate wish to continue.
As an Academy School, the art department has great flexibility and are looking for Teachers to join their department from a range of backgrounds providing they hold UK QTS or equivalent. Creative and innovative lessons are encouraged and the head of department is open to Art Teachers with varying art and design backgrounds. Candidates must be willing to teach up to GCSE level, and the department are looking to grow the number of students who complete KS4 with them.
The school are located in superb modern grounds with excellent facilitates and the potential to grow. They work hard to retain their "Good" status and work alongside other Academy Trusts to ensure best practise across all of its subjects. The school are heavily involved in their local community through sports and enterprise but are looking to grow in other subjects, including a recent design competition for their local art gallery.
All applicants are required to hold UK QTS or equivalent. Applicants should have an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
