Art Teacher – Blandford
Full-Time | Starting January 2026

A dynamic and supportive secondary school in Blandford is seeking a dedicated Art Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This full-time position is perfect for someone who is passionate about fostering creativity and helping students gain confidence in the visual arts.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, guiding students of all abilities as they experiment with techniques, explore new ideas, and develop their artistic skills.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent).

  • Confident classroom management and strong organisational skills.

  • Ability to design stimulating, skill-focused lessons aligned with the curriculum.

  • Solid subject knowledge with a commitment to high-quality teaching.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and support students.

  • Flexible and reflective approach, responsive to a range of abilities and creative styles.
