Art Teacher – Gillingham
Full-Time | Starting January 2026

A creative and nurturing secondary school in Gillingham is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Art Teacher from January 2026. This full-time role is ideal for someone who is passionate about encouraging artistic expression and developing students’ confidence in the visual arts.

The successful applicant will deliver inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting learners of all abilities as they experiment with different techniques, explore new ideas, and build their creative skill set.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent).
• Strong behaviour management and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to plan engaging, skills-based lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
• Solid subject expertise and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
• Clear communication skills and an ability to connect with and motivate students.
• A reflective, adaptable approach that caters to diverse artistic abilities.
