Exciting Opportunity: Art and Food Technician in Leeds
Are you passionate about art and food technology and enjoy working behind the scenes to support teachers and students? We have a fantastic opportunity for an Art and Food Technician to join our team in Leeds.
Role: Art and Food Technician Location: Leeds Hours: 3-4 hours per day, 5 days a week Contract: Permanent
About the Role: As an Art and Food Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our Art and Food Technology teachers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Equipment Handling: Ensuring all art and food tech equipment is handled safely and efficiently.
- Setting Up and Down: Setting up classrooms and labs for lessons and tidying them afterward.
- Cleaning: Maintaining a clean and orderly environment, including cleaning tools and materials.
- Supporting Teachers: Assisting teachers with classroom activities as needed.
- Safety: Ensuring health and safety standards are upheld in the art and food tech areas.
Qualifications and Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need:
- A keen interest in art and food technology.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a good understanding of different learning needs. Candidates must also be UK residents, living in the country for at least 6 months, with valid Right to Work documents and relevant qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
