The position: Secondary Art and Design Teacher (KS3/KS4)

Pay scale: Negotiable to reflect MPS/UPS 

Start Date: January 2021 until the end of the academic year

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a large secondary school in the Darlington area who are looking to recruit a passionate Art and Design teacher. This role is full-time, for the rest of the academic year. The role is open to both experienced and NQTs, who are available full-time and able to start after the Christmas break. 

The role

  • Be able to commit to a long-term role (Janaury 2021 - July 2021)
  • Available full-time
  • Have a respectful and professional manner towards pupils and staff within the school
  • Be passionate and inspiring
  • Teach Art and Design to KS3/KS4 
  • Have high expectations of work and behaviour
  • Covering a long-term sickness which will run likely run for the full acadmic year 

Essential

  • Hold qualified teacher status – (we welcome NQT applications)
  • Have experience working with KS3 and KS4 children
  • The right to work within the UK
  • The ability to provide two references from your most recent employers
  • All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid child workforce Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
