Art and Design Teacher 

Location: Sandwell

Start Date: Septmeber 2025 


Do you have a passion for art and a talent for inspiring young creatives? Teaching Personnel is currently supporting secondary schools in the Sandwell area that are looking for an enthusiastic Art specialist to become part of their vibrant teaching community.

The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in students’ learning journeys. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Art lessons to secondary pupils

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community

  • Maintain high expectations of student behaviour and achievement

Ideal Candidate :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Proven experience teaching Art and secondary level (Experience in delivering photography) 

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A proactive and flexible approach to teaching

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
