Position: Mathematics Graduate Teaching Assistant Location: South Manchester Salary: £1500 - £1700 per month

Your Role: As a Mathematics Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping students with complex needs succeed in their mathematical studies. Collaborating closely with our experienced teaching staff, you will provide targeted support and guidance, empowering students to overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with complex needs, focusing on mathematics.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support during classroom activities and independent study sessions.
  • Utilize your strong mathematical background to explain concepts, solve problems, and enhance students' understanding.
  • Apply effective teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
  • Contribute to progress monitoring, assessment, and reporting to ensure student growth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
