Graduate jobs in Education available this April and September

Teaching Personnel are currently in the process of recruiting for recent University Graduates who are seeking employment in a school this coming April and September in Leeds!

Graduates required for a group of mainstream Primary Schools in Leeds!

  • Do you have a degree in Education Studies, Childhood Studies, Psychology, Social Work or any other Educational based degree?
  • Are you looking to further your career within the Education Sector?
  • Are you interested in supporting learners with Additional and Special Educational Needs?

Teaching Personnel are seeking graduates who are interested in pursuing a career in Mainstream Primary School Education. Successful candidates will be required to provide specialist support for pupils in Outstanding Schools in Leeds. This is a highly rewarding role, giving aspiring teachers vital experience and the chance to gain an understanding of children aged 4-11 years.

Based in Leeds, the schools are just a maximum of a 15 minute drive from the City Centre, and is easily accessible by public transport.

As a Learning Mentor, you will have a desire to work with young people and aim to make a real difference to a child's life. Experience of working with Primary School aged children is desirable, and any extra training such as; Phonics or Safeguarding is highly desirable.

We are looking for hard working and committed individuals who would be confident and happy working with pupils of all ability levels, including Special Educational Needs. The following are essential to the role:

  • Recent graduate in Early Childhood Studies, Literacy, English or any other educational topic as a specialism
  • Firm understanding of National Curriculum in mainstream Primary Schools
  • Be proactive and resilient to the nature of the role
