The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Applied Behaviour Analyst (ABA) to join the team and work closely with pupils requiring behavioural and developmental support. The successful candidate will implement and oversee ABA interventions to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), social and communication difficulties, and other additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement behaviour intervention plans tailored to individual pupils.
- Collect and analyse behavioural data to inform decisions and track progress.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external professionals.
- Deliver one-on-one and small group ABA therapy sessions.
- Provide training and guidance to school staff and parents.
- Promote positive behaviour and support inclusion across the school day.
Essential Requirements:
- Hold an Applied Behaviour Analysis MSc.
- We will consider candidates with a Psychology, Education, Behavioural Science or a related field degree.
- Certified or experienced in ABA methodologies.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with ASD or SEN.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to child development.
Desirable:
- BCBA or RBT certification (or working towards).
- Experience working in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
