Teaching Personnel is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Agricultural Learning Support Assistant to join a school or vocational setting in the Exeter area starting in September 2025. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support students in their practical learning and development within agricultural or land-based education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering agricultural and land-based learning activities

• Support students with practical tasks such as animal care, horticulture, or farm maintenance

• Help maintain safe, clean, and well-organised learning environments

• Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with additional needs

• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement during lessons

Requirements:

• Experience or strong interest in agriculture, horticulture, or related vocational areas

• Ability to work well with young people, including those with additional learning needs

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to undertake relevant training and follow health & safety procedures

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
