Agricultural Learning Support Assistant – Exeter Area
Location: Exeter, Devon
Start Date: September 2025
Position Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)
Teaching Personnel is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Agricultural Learning Support Assistant to join a school or vocational setting in the Exeter area starting in September 2025. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support students in their practical learning and development within agricultural or land-based education.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in delivering agricultural and land-based learning activities
-
Support students with practical tasks such as animal care, horticulture, or farm maintenance
-
Help maintain safe, clean, and well-organised learning environments
-
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with additional needs
-
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement during lessons
Requirements:
-
Experience or strong interest in agriculture, horticulture, or related vocational areas
-
Ability to work well with young people, including those with additional learning needs
-
Good communication and teamwork skills
-
Willingness to undertake relevant training and follow health & safety procedures
-
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
