Location: Wiltshire
Position: Admin for SLT Link and Student Support Team
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary (Actual): £25,183 - £25,992 Annually (FTE)
Grade: NJC Grade E

Our client, a well-regarded and inclusive secondary academy based in Wiltshire, is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Student Support Team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the smooth running of the academy’s pastoral and leadership operations. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support, contributing to student welfare and the overall efficiency of the school’s support systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated administrative support to the SLT and Student Support Team

  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and manage calendars for key staff

  • Maintain accurate records relating to student behaviour, safeguarding, and pastoral care

  • Communicate professionally with students, parents, staff, and external agencies

  • Assist with the organisation of school events and pastoral interventions

  • Ensure confidentiality and data protection compliance in all duties

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within an educational setting

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school data systems (e.g., SIMS or similar)

  • A discreet, reliable, and flexible approach to supporting senior leaders and pastoral teams

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
