Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Teacher or Tutor to work 1:1 with a Year 11 student in a popular Secondary School near Scarborough. We're looking for educators with a passion for education and helping individuals to grow and advance. Lessons will be provided but you will be expected to work together on key subjects such as English, Maths and Science as well as other lessons set by the teacher. This is a full time opportunity starting ASAP and potentially continuing until the end of the academic year, working hours will be 8:30 to 2:30
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Work with a KS4 student on a 1:1 basis delivering lessons planned by the class teacher or head of departments
- Adapt lessons to be engaging to the student and cater to his learning style
- Work alongside the departments within the school to ensure a seamless programme of intervention
- Record data and assessing pupil progress

To work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £38 plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
