Help SEN Learners Thrive as a Tutor in Winchester

TP Tutors Seeking Dedicated SEN Tutors

TP Tutors is searching for motivated and understanding SEN Tutors to provide face-to-face tuition for learners in Winchester and nearby areas. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about helping young people rebuild confidence and succeed academically.

Job Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Winchester and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Flexible part-time and full-time positions
Tuition Style: In-person sessions

Main Duties

➤ Deliver engaging and supportive one-to-one tuition
➤ Tailor lessons to meet individual learning requirements
➤ Support students with additional needs and interrupted education
➤ Foster a safe, positive, and structured learning atmosphere
➤ Record learner progress and prepare future learning plans
➤ Communicate effectively with families and relevant professionals
➤ Travel within the local area for tutoring sessions

The Successful Applicant Will Be

➤ Experienced in education, mentoring, tutoring, or SEN support roles
➤ Compassionate, patient, and adaptable in their approach
➤ Confident communicating with young people and families
➤ Organised, dependable, and professional
➤ Familiar with safeguarding expectations
➤ Able to travel to learners within Winchester and surrounding locations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
