1:1 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a seconday SEMH school in Bidston, Wirral.

We are looking to recruit a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with autism on a full time basis. The role is likely to be for the full academic year and there is a possibility of a permanent school contract.

The successful candidate should have:

A good knowledge of autism

Preferably experience supporting pupils with autism

Team teach training or willingness to undertake

A calm, nurturing manner

The rate of pay will be GBP10 per hour. The school has excellent leadership and a strong team of staff who work together to provide the best outcomes for pupils. It has great transport links and is located close to the Birkenhead tunnel and is within walking distance of Bidston train station

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
