September Start | Full-Time | Primary School

A primary school in Penarth is looking to welcome a 1:1 ALN Teaching Assistant to their team from September.

This role involves providing consistent support to one pupil throughout the school day, helping them access learning, develop confidence and become more independent within the classroom.

What Your Day Could Look Like

• Supporting a pupil during lessons and structured activities
• Adapting learning resources where necessary
• Encouraging communication and participation
• Helping implement behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
• Liaising with the class teacher and ALNCo
• Celebrating progress, no matter how small

We're Looking For Someone Who

✔ Has experience supporting children with ALN

✔ Is patient, resilient and approachable

✔ Can build positive relationships quickly

✔ Understands the importance of consistency

✔ Wants to make a genuine difference every day

What's Included?

• £13.75+ per hour
• Weekly PAYE pay
• Full-time hours (Monday-Friday)
• Ongoing consultant support
• Access to specialist ALN training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
